A few Ideas for the Forum

I has a few Ideas for this Forum! Here they are:

1. Add a Badge for Your first Solution!
2. Make if so you can close #collaboration-portfollio when you hire someone! This would be useful if someone hired someone then they can close their topic to let everyone know!

close Collaboration / Portfolio when you hire someone!

You could just add “[CLOSED]” to the topic title, or if someone messages you when someone else was hired for a job you could message them back saying someone was already hired … if you really need it closed, I believe @Noah mentioned once that you can message the staff team and let them know.

Regarding the “first solution” badge, I feel like sometimes people don’t properly use the “solution” feature.

E.g:

@Cookie

Hey, to fix this do bla bla.

@25swrld

This is how I fixed it I did bla bla.

Then 25 marks his post as solution even though I said what to do above (an example), therefore people will just not get badges, I don’t want people to get badges, I also don’t want people to badges when somebody “gave me the answer in dms”, a solution should be public & available for everybody to view, it’s just the right thing.

This would be unnecessary. Just PM the moderators to close the topic; any of us would be more than happy to close it for you.

It shouldn’t be added. As cookie said, this could be massively abused if people don’t provide the solution and just it was in dms.
