How to make Minecraft-like terrain?

I’ve been looking into this kind of stuff for a while now, and I’ve always wondered how to make a Minecraft-like terrain generation system for making a Minecraft-like game, but on ROBLOX! I’ve been watching some tutorials by HowToRoblox, but I don’t understand it completely. Do you guys have any suggestions which can make this stuff a bit easier? And, also, how long does it normally take to do this kind of stuff?

It’s super complicated. You need to generate randomly while following a set of rules and inserting parts correctly while following strict rules. You will also need to use random seeds and make an algorithmic, in short to make a good algorithm a good 200-300 hrs. The Mojang team have been working on there algorithm for years. It’s gonna be hard to explain this simply.
