How to script fixed camera?

Hey, everyone!

I am currently planning to release a small game on June 30th (or July 1st, you’ll see :wink:). However, I am puzzled and in need of a script that will fix the player’s camera position upon join.

In short words, I want to local camera to be facing a certain direction the whole time in-game. Similar to a free-cam, except that the camera does not move anywhere else than the desired position.

Any help would be appreciated! :heart:

Found this on devforum Try it and see if it works,

–Put this in StarterPlayerScripts in a LocalScript, not a SERVER SCRIPT
local Camera = workspace.CurrentCamera
Camera.CameraType = Enum.CameraType.Scriptable
Camera.CFrame =, game.Workspace.fouspart.Position)

You could prob also take a look at this, alot of people hand this link out when people need help with the cam.


Thank you for your help! I forgot that CFrames are capable with customized camera positioning, that should be my solution.
