Where to start making terrain?

Hey there!

I need some customized terrain in my game but I just don’t know where to start. All I have right now is some flat terrain with some buildings and roads on them. How do I actually start this?

My suggestion would be to have a look at terrain dev videos on the YouTube platform. Have a look for plugins and familiarise yourself with the free Roblox terrain plugin.

Well, are you looking to make low-poly terrain, realistic terrain, ect?

Ok, the best advice I can give, it get a base terrain setup with the ROBLOX terrain tool, edit it and make it to how you like, but the most important bit is, edit the lighting, lighting has a huge effect on the ROBLOX environment, and can make things a lot more immersive.
