Apple Events - 2022 - WOOOO

Ello everybody,

This may be one of the biggest apple events since the iphones initial release, this may be one of the biggest events yet, I would highly reccommend watching this event, it’s going to be worth it, I’m going to be just back after my commute to watch the event.

The major reason this event will be one of the biggest is due to IOS 15 releasing, which may be considered one of the biggest changes to the OS in a longg time.

There is a lot..

Some of the new major features that I like the sound of include new messages, using AI, E.g OCR, pausing any video and integrate with text, “making everything your canvas”.

The reasons to move to the apple family is becoming stronger, the new share features are crazy, icloud is now making their Photos app a social media platform within itself?

Apple already makes “stories” in your photos, now they’re expanding to this to integrate other peoples posts and have crazy more features.

Apple pay later (Adults only), 0% interest and, four equal payments, allowing apple to become your… everything… (Dangerous?)

Apple wallet will now allow you to have ids stored, apple maps is changing, is this a bye bye to google maps, who knows?

The new apple 3d maps looks very cool…

Notifications are being changed, they’re touching it up, I don’t know why…

And finally, lock screen customization, this will be a massive deal, now you can customize your lock screens and do so much. (Check features.)

I believe this will be the big break Apple’s been looking for as with the iphone 12 and 13 there wasn’t much of a difference. I know alot of the time I’m critical of Apple. maybe not here but across platforms and that’s because I believe it has so much potential that it doesn’t always live up to. Anyhow I can’t wait to see what Apple decides to release and showcase. I remember around this time 2 years ago I was sitting with a bucket of popcorn on the television waiting to see how the design of the phones would come out. Who knows maybe something interesting will happen. Good or bad, Apple never fails to provide something intresting.

Yep, that is hard to argue with. Apple excells in quality, any product is likely to be a good product.

Very true - another top feature of the iPhone 14 is that on the more professional models(pro & pro max I believe) will be removing the notch that has forever made Apple stand out. The other 2 models will still have the notch. Another rumored feature is always on display, a feature long-awaited in iPhones.

I highly suggest iPhone 14 Pro users update to IOS 16.1 as the dynamic island now comes down in reach mode, making it much more helpful.

What’s “reach mode”?

When you swipe up on the bottom bar to access higher up apps with one hand.

Alright, so iPadOS 16 seems a bit “buggy,” if I were to try and hide a recently opened app — or share an image to Discord — the pop-up would quickly dissapear and will only remain if I were to do it a second time.

Additionally, I’m not very happy about the fact that we iPad users cannot edit the lock screen fonts, which is something only iPhone users can use and thus makes iPadOS 16 have a lot less useful features than iOS 16.

This does make it a bit more ineffecient for me because I use this often to keep the bottom-bar cleaned up and organized, but overall, iPadOS 16 isn’t so bad.

As both an iPadOS user, and IOS user, I think IOS16 seems to be more buggy compared to iPadOS16. When I turn into the camera on the lock-screen within IOS16 there’s a bug that wont let me swipe up to go back to the lock/home-screen. Knowing me this is because I haven’t updated to IOS16.2 Beta.

On the other hand, iPadOS16 could have way more to go with it, such as allowing stage manager for all of the iPad Airs, instead of just the 5th generation. I’m not to sure if they were going to do that, I’ll need to do my research on that, but also allowing us to customise our lock-screen, like they did with IOS16 and watchOS 9.

This is by far apples best update due to all the new features, but lacks the things people would have wanted to see.

I believe ios16 saved the iphone x, it may be that ipadOS was rushed after they set a date, is there any way for you to roll back?

I believe there may be a way to do that, if one can force upgrade an old iPad from iPadOS 9 to 10 then there could possibly be a way to force downgrade …

Not certain, but that’s my theory.

Personally I’m not an apple guy but in my opinion this looks quite cool!

For me, I don’t like apple computers (unless it’s for music), but I prefer apple iPhones.

I understand how it varies for everybody else though.
