I still don’t understand, this whole topic is about introducing a dedicated IOS app, we don’t have a dedicated IOS app.
Yeh, I wouldn’t reccommend using that on mobile, there is a chance for that to break.

Well that sucks now I have to buy a new phone to fix it
The website is pretty easy for mobile, why not try that?
I know this is directed at cookie (and I’m super late) but there’s a lot of barriers that stand in the way of making an app.

The forums is already something that is being funded and in order to make an app on the Apple Appstore, you need a certain license that costs quite a bit of fund and must be paid every month.

Even if Cookie did get that license, it is quite hard to take a website like this and alter it into an app.
So it’s not as easy as it may seem, and these reasons are only what I know about creating an Apple app, not even a Google Play one.

Agreed, it’s all possible and stuff but it’s super super difficult, may be something we can do when or if we have more funding in the future

Yeah, it matters about how much users you have and make sure that it won’t be unactive.
Yes, the forums are community driven.
I might try and develop one but how would it get the posts?? 
Also I can’t develop for iOS bc I don’t have a mac 
(You need a max for x code)
It’s an API, you wouldn’t be able to get access, I have a spare mac for xcode, so it’s completely possible, but you can’t make an app using our name or logo.
Why couldn’t you use the Name or Logo? Copyright?

Go to the App Store or Google Play and download the app:

Click “+” and add forums.thecookie.dev
Now you have Cookie Tech on an app with notification support!

I would prefer one that actually had the Cookie Tech branding and not this ‘discourse’ one.
