YouTube now has a new feature that can you leak your location, keep in mind this feature is automatically turned on by YouTube.
The feature is called “Automatic Places” and places mentioned in your video, such as restaurants may be displayed in the video. As a security feature I would recommend turning this off.
To disable this feature head to any one of your videos and head to view details, then scroll down to the very bottom, click on see more, “look for automatic places” and disable it.
Personally, I think it’s a security breach how this is enabled by default, sometimes if you make a mistake, you especially don’t want YouTube outlining that issue.
