Some believe this may be as Roblox is going to be making an open event page where anybody can make & host their own events.
If Roblox does create this is may be one of the best updates we’ve ever got. Roblox just must execute it properly. I can’t wait what comes of this.

I believe this events feature will be used by games to promote their free robux scam or something. I think that games that have lots of engagement hours or have a verified developer (ones with the blue tick) should be shown on the events tab.
This is great for us, not so good for them. On one hand they’re becoming similar to Discord and events are becoming much more customizable, but on the other hand because there is no longer an events tab, all Roblox-offically-made events probably won’t get any visits since now there isn’t any kind of advertising of official Roblox events … could be bad for their falling stocks, too.
But, I really love the fact developers can actually create custom events for their games!
Not necessarily, if the events page shows the most popular events maybe there are options for event sponsors to bring your sponsorship to the front page.
