Roblox may have secretly introduced a graphics update for roblox.
Many people have started to notice that within roblox games the graphics has been increasing, that accessories are becoming more detailed and now have better graphics across the board.
A popular Youtuber known as “GreenLegoCats” recently made a twitter post about roblox upgrading graphics.
Within this post he gave some examples.
From these examples we can actually see how drastic these effects are.
This is also a good sign regarding servers and other issues such as roblox downtime.
As the servers start to improve roblox can start spending server resources on expanding graphics, which is a good sign for people like you and me who want a better experience graphics-wise with roblox.
However, it seems that this update has brought it a few issues regarding cursors and seeming off-centre within first person games.
Nobody can guarantee that this update will stay but it’s likely, a patch for the broken-cursor should come soon.
The Cursor Issue:
Expected Behaviour:
Cursors are being locked to the same part of the screen, they should be centred.
Actual Behaviour:
The cursor is being locked to an off-centre part of the screen seemingly at random.
Workaround
There is no workaround.
Issue Area: Engine
Issue Type: Other
Impact: High
Frequency: Sometimes
Date First Experienced: 2022-01-05 16:01:00 (-07:00)**
This was first introduced by asimo3089, who obviously has a large game which revolves around first person shooting etcetera.
I think this graphics update is a good sign for roblox & will certainly re-assure me that the servers are up to scratch again.
Out of curiosity, what do you think this will bring to roblox?
Do you think this will really benefit the community, noticing that most of the roblox community are children and have bad devices?
Do you think this will effect roblox server performance?
