So I know lot’s of people here want to start Roblox developing, and I’m going to show you how to start off.
It’s important at the beginning that you start out the right way, this will ensure that you learn the fastest without missing out on knowledge or any other important details.
Finding out what skill you want to learn.
First of all, you need to find out what interests you, there are quite a few options to pick from, some of the most common choices are, “GFX artist, Scripter, Builder”.
Their are tons of others, it would take forever to list.
After you have found something that interests you it’s time to learn it!
Learning the skill.
Becoming a master of a skill, can take years of practice! So your first piece of work will be awful, no doubt of it.
To properly learn a skill you should watch beginners tutorial, (A series is always the best option". A big misconception when learning roblox skills is to research how to do a singular thing. For example:
searching “How to create a car” will give you less knowledge then “Roblox Beginners Series”.
Learning how to make a singular thing will not strengthen your knowledge, you should consider learning something from the ground up to the top will definitely benefit you greatly, once you learn how to do the basics it will be a lot more easier, to grow your knowledge from different places.
Also one thing -
NEVER COPY AND PASTE SOMETHING UNLESS YOUR KNOW EXACTLY WHAT ITS DOING/HOW TO MAKE ITT
Copying and pasting code will make you learn nothing, before you copy and paste anything, make sure you know exactly what the “thing” your making does/how to make it.
Also, remember when learning look for valuable resources, things such as the Roblox Developer Hub can really give you some information.
