Voice chat is now in beta and only invitational-only beta. The audio will be spatial audio which means if you are to yell, your voice will be heard further away, and whispering will be more discreet.

It’s probably the coolest gaming features ever, but there are some very serious modertaion problems. Let’s say they put a bot to track voice in-game, but what if someone manaes to hack it and then disable it? Then they can swear all they want unless someone on the other end is tape recording.
Also, if they decide to use a lot of tracking bots/third-party programs it could cause server lag.

It would. It would let others talk to other people and some would stay to talk to friends.
