It’s as the main domain is getting ddosed, if they’re with Cloudflare all ddoses should be sucked up and spewed out somewhere else, so I don’t think they’ll have proper ddos protection in place if all the subdomains are going down, I think a lot of the system will simply be broken & not working.

They knew about it, but the Person who did it knew the IP.
What IP? Every single thing should be going to the cloudflare name servers, which are ddos resistant, it’s super easy to get the IP of a server.

That’s silly, that’s not how it works. If they’re going through cloudflare name servers it doesn’t matter, it seems as if this poorly setup - disregarding certain security hazards, if they’ve set this up in a bad fashion it’s quite possible that there are security holes, but knowing the ip to the servers does not allow you to bypass ddos prevention.
Also they could route the ips through cloudflare.

I don’t think they had Cloudflare, they do have DDoS prevention.

It depends, if they have a “self-made” ddos prevention you can expect it to be not up to standards, cloudflare has diverted some of the biggest ddos attacks yet, so some homemade ddos prevention won’t cut it.
Read up on this.
May I ask what hosting provider you use?

We use https://rbxdomains.com/. We’re going to move to our Own Website Hosted by us in a Month or two if they still have these Outages.
Mhm, rbxdomains isn’t necessarily known for their DDOS prevention services.

I highly suggest purchasing a domain off of godaddy, then parking it until then.
I’ve seen some Users get a 100$ promo code from digitalocean, If I get that i’ll do one of the folloing:
- Host a Forum and use it as a Website
- Use it for the Website
