Roblox is still, to do this day trying to roll out the update that allows people to join VC without and sort of identification for proof of age. This has been rolling out for ages now.

So only partly people have it.

As of right now not everybody will have the ability to use voice chat without identification, there are 2 things you need to get this update rolled out to you:

  • Have a verified Email
  • Have a verified phone number

If you get the update the box above is what you’re going to see, it’s interesting how they talk about voice recording, as storing all of that sound data will be very expensive.

But if you’ve ever been in a roblox game you know how crazy it can get.

So what do you think of this update do you think it’s a good idea by roblox or do you think else?

Hold up … you no longer need ID for voice chat?

I see Roblox going down a road to failure and full chaos in all sectors, I can’t imagine how Roblox will even survive this. Games will be chaotic, lots of innapropriate talks will happen, developers will be flooded with ban requests, developers going insane on Twitter and Youtube and tons of >13 users exposed to content they should never hear of.

This is bad, really bad. I don’t even know what to make of this. For all I know this can affect an entire generation of Roblox players.

Whats next? EVERYONE BEING ABLE TO ACCESS VOICE CHAT? EVEN UNDER 13 PLAYERS??

I think it’s limited to if you set your birthday to 13+, but anybody can do that.
