Opinions on Roblox Moderation - Is it getting worse?

Erik Cassel died, David continued their dreams & I think that is what he would have wanted.

Also david and Erik were both co founders,

False information, he plays often on his personal accounts (for obvious reasons), however I don’t think this conversation is really about roblox moderation,

Things have a deeper meaning & sometimes people need to stay out of it, how do we know an admin did this? How did we know this wasn’t for personal reasons?

As roblox is a kids game this is how it will stay, also swearing is just wildly unnecessary, if you really want to sweat pop on a voice chat with some of your friends on discord and talk to them there, also roblox is a massive corporation, you can’t expect the owner to be able to look after every department, he will have people working as head of depos.

David could have let go of roblox after eriks death, but he didn’t and I think at the end of the day it doesn’t matter who was owner, you can read more here though:

I have no idea where you got this from … David David Baszucki and Erik Cassel were both founders of Roblox, however according to multiple verified sources, David Baszucki is now the CEO of Roblox since the unfortunate passing of Erik Cassel in 2013.

If you believe Erik Cassel was the founder of Roblox, are there any sources?

This is incorrect. David founded roblox with Erik, therefore they share ownership, but since roblox is public now, that may have changed, with David holding less of the company.

Please fact check your information before posting, David does play roblox, on his other accounts “as to view the platform from a normal players eyes”.

Roblox outsources admins from other countries, and they’re simply following the guidelines issued by roblox, everyone must be over the age of 18 to work with roblox, and must go through strenuous interviews, read more here.

@peter | You know I was just being sarcastic I was just making a reference of how bad the moderation is.

This was a mistake.

@peter | Yes, indeed he is the co-founder read more here.

David Baszucki is a Co-Founder; his profile says it. Erik Cassel is also considered a Co-Founder - his old ROBLOX biography said that. (Sourced from web archives)

Here is his Roblox description.

I’m the CEO and Co-Founder of ROBLOX. Really! I used to login as Builderman. Now I login both as david.baszucki, and also under several other accounts so as to view ROBLOX from the eyes of a regular player.

Notice it says Co-Founder.

Yes, I am going to research Erik Cassel’s old description.

Hmm. There was never a known founder it looks like. Here is his description before deleted.

Both co-founders, even though David is legally the founder it would be disrespectful to Erik to give himself that title on his roblox account.

Co-founder also means to share ownership…

Please remember to be respectful — not everyone knows everything & we all have opinions. This is a safe place for discussion, so please remain respectful, regardless of how you feel.

Please read this this.

I’m also not going on this again because I’m getting bored : |

Hey @Deleted_User13,

No worries if you don’t see this, as you said you wouldn’t return.

Google describes the word co-owner as:

  1. a person who owns something jointly with another or others.

“she is co-owner of her own clothing label”

Therefore meaning, having a 50% steak in the company, shared with someone who also owns 50% making it evident that there is no “executive decision maker” making both people are “co-owners”, as there is no “owner”.

Hopefully I explained that well.

Regards,
@peter

Google isn’t necessarily always a reliable source - I’ve been told some insane things by google.

There doesn’t have to be 2, there can be 3, 5, 10, or however many - the word co-owner simply means that they share ownership of the company with (a) other(s).
